Open every Tuesday from 12pm to 2pm, our food pantry supplies food to more than 1,900 families and individuals annually.

We began this program in collaboration with the Capitol Hill Congregation Based Shelter Program providing shelter to homeless families in the District of Columbia.

Small Business Assistance Program
EBOL provides a range of assistance to small businesses to help increase revenue and foot traffic to the Ward 4 Brightwood business corridor.
Neighborhood Facade Improvement
A grant from the DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) to EBOL, provides facade-restoration assistance to Brightwood small businesses.
Weekend Backpack Program
In collaboration with the Capital Area Food bank, every Friday afternoon EBOL provides packed food for low-income children ages 5 to18.
Each year Emory Beacon of Light partners with the community to conduct a walk-a-thon for the homeless men, women and children that rely on us for services and support. The Walk for 2020 is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, 2020.
